WEEK 4 STARTS AND SITS!

Writer: Joe VolpeJoe Volpe

With a crazy week of COVID and Tennessee Titans related difficulties, as well as Super Cam contracting the virus, it's just good to be able to sit down and spend the day watching football. So let's cherish this day, take advantage by making a come back!

Hopefully, all is well with you and your families, but let's talk some football!

START - Mike Gesicki vs SEA

Seattle, or more so Jamal Adams, is typically pretty strong against opposing TEs. But with Adams sidelined with an injury, all bets are off. Seattle without Adams was one of the worst defenses against TEs last season, and in a game for Fitzmagic is going to need to air it out, I'd bet Gesicki gets a score or two, as well as some yardage. I also love DeVante Parker as well.

START - Darrell Henderson vs NYG

After back to back games of 14 and 21 touches, Hendy gets a blowout matchup against an 0-3 Giants team who have to travel from the east coast to the west coast. The Rams as a team lead the league in rushing, with at least one of their RBs scoring at least 19 Points every week. Considering the recent workload Hendy has gotten, as well as Cam Akers being out, on top of a fantastic game script, I'm all over him in week four.

START - T.J. Hockenson vs NO

I made a tweet the other day in regards to New Orleans and their immense struggle against TEs so far this season. Through three games, they have allowed O.J. Howard (13.6 Points), Darren Waller (28.5 Points), and Robert Tonyan (16.0 Points). In their other two games these players average 5.0 PPG (Howard), 6.7 PPG (Waller), and 5.3 PPG (Tonyan). Hock as been pretty consistent through three games, and has a gleaming matchup ahead, especially given all the injuries to the Saints' secondary.

SIT - Antonio Gibson vs BAL

The young RB took a step back last week in terms of snaps, and in their toughest matchup yet, one could only assume he won't be efficient, and he won't have as many opportunities. In the long run, Gibson has season-long RB2 upside, but for this week and this matchup, he will stay nice and cozy on my bench.

SIT - T.Y. Hilton @ CHI

No Michael Pittman, no Parris Campbell, no Marlon Mack. But T.Y. Hilton still can't get it done. Phillip Rivers would just much rather dump it off to Jonathan Taylor or Nyheim Hines than chuck it deep to Hilton. Even Mo Alie-Cox is getting his fair share. I don't care what Hilton says, his Grandma is right and he is just not the same player. Impossible to trust him going forward.

SIT - Evan Engram vs LAR

Another guy I'm just having trouble putting my faith in is Evan Engram. He was getting the targets early on, but he just has not produced, and part of that is due to Daniel Jones struggling as well. You may not be able to sit him due to all the COVID + Injuries, but he's my TE11 this week so if you have another decent option I would bench him. You can check my rankings in the "ranks" page on this website if you are curious!
