Week 5 5/8

Season 9/16

QB: Ryan Tannehill

vs HOU (22nd)

$5,900

Tannehill has been playing like an MVP while averaging 23 Draft Kings points per game. In a matchup vs Houston who has been torched by QB's all year, I expect Tannehill to keep it up. When I first saw his price I was shocked as he is the QB8 in PPG in a great matchup at 5.9k. Makes absolutely no sense but hey, I am all for it!

RB: David Montgomery

vs CAR (32nd)

$5,800

I recommend paying down at the RB position this week as there are so many great values and the top guys all seem to have tough matchups or aren't on the Sunday Slate. Monty is the perfect guy for this strategy as he faces one of the worst run defenses I have ever seen. I mean if you can make Todd Gurley look like a top RB at this point in his career you are pretty bad. Monty has a great shot at 20+ fantasy points this week as they have allowed 20+ Fantasy Points to 4/5 starting RBs this year.

RB: Antonio Gibson

vs NYG (24th)

$5,500

I went with Gibson last week and he didn't have the blow up game I was expecting. But I still have a ton of confidence in him this week. He faces off against a Giants D who has been killed by RBs this year. When Antonio Gibson gets the ball the offense moves and I think it is time that the coaching staff realizes it. Take advantage of his cheap price while you can because it is only going to increase as the season goes on.

RB: Myles Gaskin

vs NYJ (29th)

$5,400

I know it isn't the big name guy but Myles Gaskin has been an outstanding fantasy RB this year. He has seen double digit touches and points in 4/5 weeks and now he gets to face the 29th ranked defense against fantasy RBs. If Gaskin can find the end zone, which has been pretty easy to do vs the Jets, he will likely be in for a big day. He is too cheap to not find a way into your lineup.

WR: Aj Brown

vs HOU (17th)

$5,600

This is actually a bit insane. Here are some guys that are the sam or a higher price than AJB this week: Julian Edelman, DJ Moore, Tyler Boyd, Hollywood Brown, and Jerry Jeudy ($100 cheaper). Brown is coming off of an elite performance vs the Bills where he put up 21 fantasy points and now gets to face the Texans who have not been great vs WRs. This is a 6.5k receiver priced down to 5.6k and you should be taking advantage.

WR: Justin Jefferson

vs ATL (27th)

$6,000

Jefferson is priced up a bit but I think he will prove to be worth it in a dream matchup vs ATL. Jefferson will be in for a treat vs Isaiah Oliver who has been bleeding points to just about anybody he has matched up against. Thielen will definitely get his but for 1.3k cheaper you are able to throw Jefferson into your lineup. We know what he can do.

WR: Kenny Golladay

vs JAX (18th)

$6,200

Golladay is underpriced this week in my opinion. He has a ceiling of 30+ points as he goes up against a Jags Defense that just allowed Brandin Cooks and Will Fuller to eat them alive. Golladay has seen 7+ targets in both of his games this year while also scoring in both. All it takes is one huge play from Golladay to be bringing the cash into your wallet.

WR: Chase Claypool

vs CLE (26th)

$5,200

We just saw Claypool explode last week for 40+ fantasy points as he put the league on notice. I don't think it was a complete fluke. One huge factor that went into his big performance was Diontae Johnson going down with a back injury early on. With Diontae out this week the sky is the limit for Claypool as he goes up against a Browns Defense that has struggled against fantasy WR's. He has a low floor but the ceiling is through the roof and at 5.2k why not take a shot?
