START - Alexander Mattison vs ATL
This should be a no brainer here. No matter who you have on your team, Mattison should be every owner’s lineup this week. He’s going to put up 20+ in a great matchup..
START - David Montgomery @ CAR
Todd Gurley looked like he turned back the clock to 2015 last week when he ran for over 120 yards against the Panthers. The Panthers as a whole have allowed a ton of points to RBs, and with the amount of targets Monty is seeing while Cohen nurses an ACL tear makes him a low RB1 this week!
START - Evan Engram vs WAS
The Washington team is allowing the 4th Most points to TEs so far this season. Not only that, but Darius Slayton is nursing an injury and won’t be 100%. Daniel Jones will also be under a LOT of pressure from Chase Young and company, so dumping off the ball to the Engram in the slot would be ideal so he doesn’t have to hold onto the ball too long. Plus the fact that Engram scored on a rushing TD last week just shows how versatile he is.
OTHER STARTS - Antonio Gibson @ NYG, Chase Claypool vs CLE
DESPERATE STARTS - D'Andre Swift @ JAC, Trey Burton vs CIN
SIT - Joe Burrow @ IND
Burrow is away from home going against a defense that allows less than 200 Passing Yards per game. The Colts have also been in a lot of low scoring games, so it’s not an ideal situation for Burrow.
SIT - Travis Fulgham vs BAL
Fulgham has really shown out the last couple of weeks, and he could end up being something special. But he now gets either Marlon Humphrey (most likely) or Marcus Peters without DeSean Jackson or any other receiver to take away coverage. I like Greg Ward better in the slot.
SIT - D.J. Moore vs CHI
In the matchup of all matchups he saw a grand total of 5 targets (tied with Curtis Samuel) last week. Nothing about the matchup against Chicago scared me off necessarily, but the volume isn’t there.
OTHER SITS - Darrell Henderson @ SF, Deebo Samuel vs LAR
LOWER EXPECTATIONS - Devin Singletary vs KC, Robert Tonyan @ TB
